Gender-responsive infectious disease models: Guidelines and systematic scoping review
By applying a gender-responsive lens to infectious disease modeling, this study demonstrates how incorporating sex/gender, intersecting social identities, and gendered social contexts can better identify inequities in disease transmission, access to care, and intervention impacts, ultimately supporting more equitable and effective public health policies.
